Starting with a postulated three dimensional space, many particles of one type, motion of the particles, and collisions of the particles, The Grand Unified Theory of Physics derives the observables of physics. The paper The Human Cosmos gives the origins of stars, planets, and the atoms. Nothing else must be postulated to derive biological systems and possibly even social systems (Principles of Science Ch. 6 193-204), even logic and truth can be derived. The primary question is whether or not free will must be postulated (Principles of Science 193-200).
If free will need not be postulated then one philosophy of life could be to accept what the Grand Unified Theory gives (and can give with complete development) and regard that as everything there is to life. There is nothing spiritual, or anything else, beyond what is given by the theory. In line with this the basic physical postulates would be accepted without questioning their origin.
Another philosophy of life is to accept a spiritual mental construct which is as rich and varied as one desires – except to make sure it accepts (is consistent with) the physical observables as given in a completely unified theory of the physical universe.
The non-spiritual philosophy is actually faced with the question of from where did the postulated entities come. Questions such as why is space three-dimensional, why are brutinos spherical, why are brutinos identical, why do brutinos move and collide all can be asked. One answer is “I don’t know.” The spiritualist answers “God made the universe that way.”
